About

A small town in the North Georgia Mountains that you never heard of unless you were looking for the beginning (Or end depending on how you look at it) of the Appalachian Trail-- That's where I spent the first eighteen years of my life.
There was never much to do in that little town.. except talk... and did we talk. Talk about the weather, talk about the local officials, talk about property lines and whatever may come to mind that day. As a young person I'd always notice a gap somewhere in the story. Somewhere the lines didn't all connect and whether the story was altered in the presence of a child or just plain ignorance I was not sure at that age.
That's where my passion for journalism began. I wanted to be the person who knew all the facts. My passion would continue to grow as I began reading the morning newspaper at the age of nine and watching local news regularly by the time I was twelve.
My passion for journalism and media would eventually take me thousands of miles away from that small town to Los Angeles where I would interview 2016 Presidential Candidate Gary Johnson, New York City to chat with UGA Alumni and Good Morning America Anchor, Amy Robach, and Atlanta to cover the I-85 Bridge Fire and Collapse-- to name a few.
